On 4/29/26 Licensing program analyst Marisa Chiarelli arrived at the facility unannounced for a case management visit, LPA met with Chris Bell staff member and explained the purpose of the visit. On 4/20/26 LPA Chiarelli received a call from Chris regarding the administrator at the facility. Cassie is no longer the administrator and Guy Berry will be taking over as administrator. Chris said he will send over the documentation so LPA can update the administrator in the system to reflect the new administrator. No deficiencies are being cited as of today's visit. Type of visit: Required - 1 Year

On 11/21/2025 at 10:45am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA's) Sarah Benson and Marisa Chiarelli arrived at the facility unannounced to conduct a Required-1 Year inspection. LPAs met with Administrator Cassie Berry (cert #7022538740 exp.6-10-26) and explained the purpose of the visit. Administrator certificate is current. LPA's and administrator toured the facility together to ensure the health and safety of residents in care. Areas toured include but are not limited to four (4) resident rooms, common areas, two (2) bathrooms, kitchen, storage areas and back yard. Staff and resident files were reviewed. Medications were also reviewed. Medication is locked in a locked closet. The common area was clean, odor-free and in good repair. All bedrooms had required furniture, bedding, lighting and windows with screens. The bathrooms were clean and in good repair. The kitchen was clean and in good repair. Cooking/dining equipment and utensils were present. Food appears to be stored and prepared properly. Facility has required (7) seven-day non-perishable and (2) day perishable supply of food. The facility was observed to be at a comfortable temperature. First aid kit fully stocked and ready for emergency use. Fire extinguisher fully charged. Smoke detectors are all operational. Hot water temperature measured within required Title 22 regulations of 105 degrees F and 120 degrees. All required postings are displayed within the facility. No pools/bodies of water are on the premises. No firearms are on premises. The last disaster drill was conducted and documented on 9-6-25, the facility has been conducting drills every 3 months. LPA interviewed two residents and one staff. The following deficiencies were observed (See LIC 809D) and cited from the California Code of Regulations, Title 22, and California Health and Safety Code. Failure to correct the deficiencies may result in civil penalties. Type of visit: Required - 1 Year

On November 14, 2024 at approximately 12:00 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Farhaan Sarangi arrived unannounced at Sharon's Home for the purpose of conducting a Required 1 year inspection. LPA was greeted at the door by Caregiver, Christopher Bell and was granted access into the facility. LPA and the Administrator toured the facility. LPA observed the facility was found to be clean and at a comfortable temperature with all exits free from obstruction. However, LPA was informed that the fence is currently in the process of being replaced. LPA observed the fence being in moderate condition with one fence plank having a crack on it caused by the next door neighbors dogs. LPA advised to let CCL know when the fence will be completed (See LIC 9102-Technical Assistance). Fire Extinguishers were found to be last charged on July 2024 at the time of the inspection. All smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors were tested and found to be operational at the time of the inspection. Water temperature in residents bathrooms measured at 108 degrees in 2 of 2 residents bathrooms and is within acceptable range of 105 to 120 degrees F. LPA observed sufficient perishable and non-perishable foods located in the kitchen. There are special provisions made for individuals with special dietary needs. Food menu was presently available for viewing during the inspection. Medications were centrally stored and locked. Medication orders for residents in care were reviewed and found to be appropriate during the inspection. First Aid Kit was inspected and found to be appropriate during the inspection. Cleaning products and other toxins are located in the laundry room that was locked and inaccessible to residents in care. There was a supply of linens, cleaners, hygiene products and paper products available for residents. All bathrooms designated for residents in the common areas at the facility were supplied with individual paper towels and hand soap. Bathrooms in resident’s rooms have a towel and soap. Bathrooms were equipped with necessary grab bars, and non-slip floors/mats were present. A tour of all residents bedrooms were conducted, and bedrooms inspected have lighting and appropriate furnishings. LPA advised facility to contact County Public Health and Community Care Licensing immediately if symptoms of COVID-19 or other infectious diseases are present in the facility. LPA Benson and administrator toured the facility together to ensure the health and safety of residents in care. Areas toured include but are not limited to four (4) resident rooms, common areas, two (2) bathrooms, kitchen, storage areas and back yard. In the areas toured no immediate health, safety, or personal rights violations were observed. Staff and resident files were reviewed. Medications were also reviewed. The common area was clean and in good repair. All bedrooms had required furniture, bedding, and lighting. The bathrooms were clean and in good repair. The kitchen was clean and in good repair. Cooking/dining equipment and utensils were present. Food appears to be stored and prepared properly. Facility has required (7) seven-day non-perishable and (2) day perishable supply of food.
