Free consumer service. Covelight Care is a free service for individuals and families seeking licensed residential care facilities in California. There is no charge to consumers for using this directory or for receiving placement assistance.

Information from public records. Facility information on this site is drawn from California Department of Social Services public records. Each data point is labeled with the date it was harvested. Licensing status and other details may change; we re-verify license status before any referral is made.

No medical or legal advice. Covelight Care does not provide medical advice, legal advice, or clinical assessments. Nothing on this site should be construed as a recommendation regarding any individual's medical care or financial decisions. Consult qualified professionals for such guidance.

Text messages. If you opt in to text messages from Covelight Care, you will receive only the message types you requested — verification codes, visit coordination, or availability checks. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
