On 8/18/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mia Lankford conducted a one year required annual inspection for the above facility. LPA met Caregiver Vanessa Reyes. Caregiver called Licensee Lorenzi Nunez and LPA explaine the reason for the visit and granted entry. Buildings and Grounds: The facility is composed of three (3) residents' bedrooms, two (2) bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen area, and a garage. Water temperature was measured within regulation at 117.3 F. The interior and exterior walkways of the facility were observed to be clutter free with no obstructions present. Smoke and Carbon Monoxide detectors were in working order. There is no pool and there are no weapons stored in the facility. Residents' bedrooms are fully furnished, and privacy is available. Outdoor areas have sufficient room for activities and leisure. A washing machine and dryer were available and in working order. The facility has a working phone witnessed by calling the phone number. Storage and Supplies: Medications, will be stored in a locked cabinet in the kitchen, inaccessible to any unauthorized individuals. Staff and residents files will be stored in the kitchen area. A complete first aid kit was observed to be available. Cleaning supplies are locked and stored under the sink in the kitchen. Linens and equipment appeared to be in good repair and sufficient for the approved census. Fire extinguisher was available and fully charged with an expiration date of December 31, 2026. Food Service: Utensils and dishware are sufficient for the requested capacity. The refrigerator and freezer are in working order. Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Abdoulaye Zerbo conducted an announced pre-licensing inspection at the facility and met with Licensee/Administrator Lorenzi Nunez Application: The inspection is an initial application for a Residential Care Facility for Elderly (RCFE). The Desert Hot Springs Fire Department approved a fire clearance on 07-05-2025 for six (6) non-ambulatory residents.
