Why is my home already on Covelight?
Covelight lists every residential care home for the elderly licensed by the California Department of Social Services, from the state’s public records. Claiming the page lets you add your side: photos, prices, openings and the care you give.
Is claiming free?
Yes. Claiming your page, changing it and keeping it current cost nothing, and a family who calls you from your page never creates a fee.
How do you check that I run the home?
We send a 5-digit code to a phone or email already on file for your home. If neither reaches you, send us a photo of your current state license and we review it.
What if the phone on my license is out of date?
Choose “None of these reach me” when you verify. You can also update your license phone with Community Care Licensing; your page follows the state record.
